New Energy Efficient Lighting Product Launched At NEMEX

Lighting specialist, the Energys Group, will be exhibiting its new energy-efficient 2D LED Replacement Lamp on stand S5 at NEMEX, the UK's leading energy and renewables event. NEMEX marks the introduction of an exciting new Energys product: the LED Replacement Lamp for 2D, which replaces 2D CFLs in the existing fittings. By dramatically reducing the wattage needed, from 34W to 14W, the LED Replacement Lamp for 2D typically lasts six times longer than its old-style equivalent.

Visitors to the Energys stand at NEMEX, which takes place on 20-22 April 2010 at the Birmingham NEC, will also be offered advice on reducing energy use in lighting - an effective solution for cutting down on both costs and carbon. NEMEX will also see Energys showcase 'Save It Easy®', a retrofit device that allows new-generation T5 energy-efficient fluorescent lamps to be used with the existing light fittings. With over one million units installed, Save It Easy® is now viewed by industry peers as one of the most widely-accepted and proven energy-saving products. Aidan Salter, Managing Director of Energys, comments: "We will be exhibiting at stand S5 at NEMEX in Birmingham, which is an important opportunity to help organisations to understand the retrofit options available when choosing energy-efficient lighting. Products like Save It Easy® or the 2D LED, which reduces the disruption of switching to energy-efficient lighting, are proven to achieve payback in less than a year."

He continues: "With government interventions such as the Carbon Reduction Commitment Energy Efficiency Scheme in place, the need to save energy in lighting, through products like Save It Easy® and the LED Replacement Lamp for 2D, has never been greater." Energys experts Steve Adams and Gavin Skipsey will be on the stand throughout the exhibition to provide advice and guidance on how retrofit lighting solutions can deliver significant carbon savings, as well as reduced maintenance costs and improved light-quality.
